 "Filtration" is a process used to separate particles/solids from gases or liquids by using filter material, either surface filter or depth filter. Surface filter, as previous mentioned, is a kind of filtration using filter material to trap solids/particles onto the filter surface, while liquid or gases will pass through filter, however, depth filter is a filtration process with a combination of filter material, particles are trapped inside the filter material.
